Dr. Jennifer Ossege enjoys working with a variety of clients including adults, and teens, treating issues such as anxiety, depression, trauma, ADHD, and mood disorders. She utilizes an integrative approach to therapy, customizing the therapy to fit her patient’s needs. She also provides CogMed training for working memory deficits.
She is a licensed psychologist in the Commonwealth of Kentucky and is a board approved clinical supervisor, providing supervision to early career psychologists. She has also been granted authorization to provide telehealth services in the state of Florida and the designation of APIT (Authority to Practice Interjurisdictional Telepsychology) in states that have enacted PSYPACT legislation. Dr. Ossege earned her Doctoral Degree in Clinical Psychology as well as her Master’s Degree in Clinical Psychology from Xavier University. During her doctoral studies, her concentration was in child and adolescent studies and she also obtained a certificate in Organizational Concepts and Management. She has experience working with children within a residential treatment center, adults in the Veteran’s Administration (VA) Medical Center, and adolescents and adults in both community mental health centers and college counseling centers.
Dr. Ossege has been in private practice since 2001, working with teens and adults, and co-founded Viewpoint Psychological Services, PLLC, in 2006. She continues to work with clients, while also overseeing operations of the practice and supervising early career psychologists and clinicians. |

Dr. Ossege is an adjunct faculty in the Psychology Department at Xavier University in Cincinnati, Ohio, where she has taught undergraduate and graduate level courses including General Psychology, Early Childhood Development, Child Psychology, Ethics, and Developmental Psychology. She currently teaches graduate students in the Doctor of Psychology (Psy.D.) Program at Xavier University. Her publications include articles in the Journal of Child Sexual Abuse (Catholicism and Childhood Sexual Abuse: Women’s Coping and Psychotherapy, 2014), and The Ohio Psychologist (Building Quality Relationships in a Technologically Mediated Learning Environment, 2012). Dr. Ossege is co-editor of the book The Resilient Mental Health Practice: Nourishing Your Business, Your Clients and Yourself (2017), co-author of the books Hopes & Perspectives of Muslim American Women: A Paradox of Honor (2018), and Group Therapy for Voice Hearers: Insights and Perspectives (2019). She has also been a presenter at the American Psychological Association’s annual convention in Honolulu, Hawaii (2013).
