Brittany Gottschall, LPCC, provides online therapy for adults on issues related to depression, anxiety, grief, trauma, adjustment, and substance abuse. She is committed to facilitating a positive online therapy experience, and enjoys working with diverse individuals from a variety of backgrounds, including ethnic and racial minorities, and various sexual/gender identities. Brittany recognizes the challenges faced by those who have been marginalized, and she provides a welcoming, safe, and supportive therapy experience. She has served on diversity and sexual assault prevention outreach teams, and continues spreading awareness regarding these important issues.
Before becoming a Licensed Professional Clinical Counselor in Kentucky, Brittany earned her Bachelor’s degree in Psychology from Ball State University in Muncie, Indiana, minoring in both Mathematics and Interpersonal Relations. She also obtained her Master’s degree in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from Ball State University.
Her experience includes working with college students at a university student psychological counseling center, treating adults in medication assisted substance abuse treatment, and providing outpatient community mental health counseling. Brittany joined the clinical team at Viewpoint in 2017, where she integrates a variety of approaches into her treatment, including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Interpersonal Therapy, Emotionally Focused Therapy, and Solution Focused Therapy. Brittany tailors her therapy approach with each individual’s needs in mind.
