Anna Raker is a Licensed Psychological Associate (LPA) within the state of Kentucky. She enjoys working with client’s of all ages, but specializes in treating elementary to high school age children. Anna addresses a range of presenting concerns, such as attention deficit/ hyperactivity, mood disorders, behavioral difficulties, trauma, depression, and anxiety. Anna uses evidence-based strategies, tailored to each client, to aid in symptom management, reduce distress, and work to create an improvement in quality of life for each and every client.
Anna earned her Bachelor's and Master's degree in Clinical Psychology from Western Kentucky University. Here, she gained experience in psychological assessment and a variety of therapeutic techniques, including strategies to treat anxiety, depression, attention deficit hyperactivity disorder, personality disorders, and post traumatic stress disorder. |
Within her career, Anna has worked in a variety of settings, such as a counseling center, a clinic and within schools. In these settings, Anna has provided individual counseling, day treatment therapy, and assessment services. Clients have ranged in acuity and symptom severity, providing a range of skills useful for therapy.
At Viewpoint, Anna works under the supervision of Jennifer Ossege, Psy.D., a clinical psychologist and board approved supervisor in Kentucky.
