Anne Haag, CSW ~ Crestview Hills Location
Anne Haag (she/her) provides individual psychotherapy services to teens and adults from a diverse array of backgrounds with a wide range of presenting issues including anxiety, depression, work-related burnout, grief, and trauma. Her approach to therapy is integrative and responsive to patient needs and can include elements of Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavioral Therapy (DBT), Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), and psychodynamic therapy. Anne enjoys helping people process and navigate trauma, life transitions, and relationship issues. Anne has a background in working with survivors of sexual and gender-based violence, and that work has been foundational in her approach to survivor-led trauma therapy. Anne is currently completing an EMDRIA-approved EMDR (Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing) training and will begin booking clients for EMDR in May. |
Anne also provides couples therapy services and has completed Level 1 of the Gottman Method training. She enjoys helping couples navigate conflict in more productive and communicative ways while helping them to reconnect with what brought them together in the first place.Anne is a Certified Social Worker (CSW) in Kentucky and earned her Master's degree in Social Work from the University of Illinois Chicago. After completing a 60-hour certification course, she volunteered for 5 years as a crisis counselor for survivors of sexual violence in emergency rooms around Chicago. She also has experience working with hospice patients and their families. Before becoming a therapist, Anne worked for 7 years as a Law Practice Management Advisor at the Chicago Bar Association, where she taught many continuing legal education seminars about mental health and wellness within the legal field.
At Viewpoint, Anne works under the supervision of Ted Ossege, LCSW-S who is a Licensed Clinical Social Worker and board approved supervisor in Kentucky. |
