CES Clinic Fact Sheet

CES Clinic Process:

Current Clients of Viewpoint:
Your treating provider will complete a referral form with you during a regularly scheduled session. From there, you will meet with a certified CES provider at the Crestview Hills location for a consultation which can be billed
through your insurance. During that session, you will complete your first CES treatment and will discuss information about the device, your experience with the treatment and the CES clinic process. At that point, you can start the CES clinic when it is convenient for you.

Clients Treated by Mental Health Providers Outside of Viewpoint:
Your treating provider will complete a referral form and send it to VPS. Our office staff member will reach out to schedule two sessions including an initial evaluation (which will be scheduled as a telehealth appointment) and a CES Consultation (in-person). Both of these appointments can be billed through insurance (pending approval of benefits). At that point, you can start the clinic at your convenience. All new clients will need to complete Viewpoint Psychological Services paperwork.
Our policy is that this paperwork must be completed before
we are able to schedule the initial appointment and CES consultation.

CES Clinic Scheduling:

Sessions are scheduled 2-5 times a week between 9 am and 5 pm most days of the week (based on staff availability).

Duration of Treatment:

During the initial consultation process, you will work with a certified CES provider to develop a treatment plan based on your goals and your experience with the CES device. Typical recommendations are as follows:

Typical Fees:

*Viewpoint is now offering the opportunity to rent an Alpha-Stim device to established clients. This allows clients to experience the benefits of CES in their daily lives and in the comfort of their home for the duration of the rental period. The rental program costs $95 per week and will start with an in-office consultation with a certified CES provider.

For Community Mental Health Providers Referring a Client to the Clinic:

The clinic is only available to clients that are currently in mental health treatment but we would like to make this service available to clients that are outside of Viewpoint Psychological Services. To facilitate this referral process, complete the “Community CES Clinic Referral Form” and the accompanying release of information with your client during your regularly scheduled session. This form is designed to be used during a session and provides some basic information about exclusionary criteria, clinic functioning and expectations in order to ensure that this is an appropriate referral. While there is space on the referral form to provide more detailed information, please feel free to provide additional information

Once we receive the referral information, we will reach out to the client to schedule the initial appointment and CES Consultation. Once your client’s treatment plan has been completed, all documentation will be sent back to the treating provider. This documentation will include any therapy notes, weekly rating scales with summary, and list of ongoing recommendations related to CES treatment.
